SAP CAR Consultant | SAP CAR 6.0 - Spanish Speaker
The challenge
Nexton Technologies is seeking an SAP CAR Consultant with experience in version 6.0 to support technology transformation projects in the retail industry. This role will be responsible for analyzing, configuring, and validating SAP CAR processes and integrations, helping ensure data integrity and business continuity.
What you'll do
- Analyze business processes and their configuration in SAP CAR, identifying dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Configure and support the receipt, validation, auditing, and processing of point-of-sale transactions.
- Participate in the integration of SAP CAR with SAP S/4HANA, POS systems, and related applications.
- Assess functional and integration impacts during upgrades to SAP CAR 6.0.
- Design and execute functional, integration, and regression tests, documenting results and managing defects.
- Collaborate with functional, ABAP, and Basis teams to resolve configuration, interface, and data consistency issues.
- Support go-live readiness, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Prepare functional documentation and deliver knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
What we're looking for
- Proven hands-on experience with SAP CAR 6.0, with the ability to describe project scope, individual contributions, and responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of POS Data Transfer and Audit (POSDTA) and the POS Inbound Processing Engine (PIPE).
- Experience with POS transaction integration, reconciliation, monitoring, and error handling.
- Understanding of retail processes, including sales, returns, articles, stores, and inventory.
- Experience integrating SAP CAR with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP.
- Ability to investigate issues, document solutions, and coordinate activities across multidisciplinary teams.
- Clear communication, the ability to work independently, and a strong focus on delivering results.
